All XNTN LXX Exceptions

This rule in the LXX is not always emphatic and there are exceptions. As is the case in other Koine Greek literature, in the genitive with two proper names it’s not always Simple Apposition and is occasionally a Genitive of Relationship.

This rule is broken nine times in the LXX with Genitives of Relationship, as shown below: Ἐφρὼν τοῦ Σαὰρ τοῦ Χετταίου (Genesis 25:9), Ἀβαίαν θυγατέρα Ἐλιὰβ τοῦ Ἰεσσαί (2 Chronicles 11:18), Ἰεροβοὰμ ὁ τοῦ Ναβὰτ ὁ παῖς Σαλωμὼν τοῦ Δαυὶδ (2 Chronicles 13:6), καὶ τῷ Ὀζιὴλ τῷ τοῦ Ζαχαρίου τῶν υἱῶν Βαναίου τῶν υἱῶν Ἐλεὴλ τοῦ Μανθανίου (2 Chronicles 20:14), Ἰοὺ τοῦ Ἁνανί (2 Chronicles 20:34), Σοφονίαν τὸν τοῦ Χουσὶ υἱὸν Γοδολίου τοῦ Ἀμαρίου τοῦ Ἐζεκίου (Zephaniah 1:1), Ἰησοῦ τοῦ Ἰωσεδὲκ τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ μεγάλου (Haggai 1:14), Ἰωσίου τοῦ Σοφονίου (Zechariah 6:10), and Ἰησοῦ τοῦ Ἰωσεδὲκ τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ μεγάλου (Zechariah 6:11).

Additionally, when someone is quoted, the name of the person quoted and the subject of the quote can break the rule, such as Genesis 22:8 εἶπεν δὲ Ἁβραάμ ὁ θεὸς and Genesis 32:9 εἶπεν δὲ Ἰακώβ ὁ θεὸς.

Exceptions seem to be more prevalent when there is no nominative due to the phrase being a title, etc...

Judges 8:7 appears to have a typo, "καὶ εἶπεν Γεδεών διὰ τοῦτο ἐν τῷ δοῦναι κύριον τὸν Ζεβεὲ καὶ Σελμανὰ ἐν χειρί μου." Since κύριον is the subject, it should be κύριος.

The remainder of exceptions includes:
